This was written about my great-great-great grandparent's crossing the plains in 1852 with their children. The eldest son's wife wrote letters to her sister back in Iowa and many years later the letters were returned to her and bound in a book for the family. The historic trip across the plains was so interestingly written and were a precise accounting that the book is still in print today for anyone intersted in this period to read. WONDERFUL! EDUCATIONAL!
