About the Author

Richard has been a two-time recipient of NEA fellowships. His The Wars of Heaven won the O.Henry and Pushcart Prizes. His novel, Fatal Light won the special citation of the Hemingway Foundation and the Vietnam Veterans of America's Excellence in the Arts Award.
