Excellent - God is always there,

I loved the book and will reread it often. The writing is a lighthouse, hope in the darkness of dispair of outer circumstances and inner pain that doesn't seem to end resulting in a feeling that there is nothing to live for anymore; then because God is rich in mercy, sunshine breaks through and the rainbow brings hope. Deeply heart wrenching. I don't think this book can be read without tears shed as the heart in the agony, struggle and pain reaches toward our heavenly home to Jesus Christ our final hope and home. "I'm not far away" and "Never bite the Master's hand, he might stop feeding me was especially meaningful to me referring to the fact that God is love, full of mercy, longsuffering and forgiveness but who can stand under the wrath of God. |
