This watch kit is sufficient for most people's everyday needs. You can use this kit effectively to remove and resize watch bands. However, I can give this kit no more than 3 stars for one reason: The flimsy construction makes it difficult for me to believe the list price of $100.

This watch kit has the basic components. The pin removal tool can be used to remove band pins between links by placing your band in the center and gently turning the handle till the pin is pushed through. The pliers help you remove or place pins. The extra tips help you replace yours if it breaks and the tweezers help with small parts.

The pin removal tool is no different than any you would buy from any other brand. It is constructed of cheap plastic. All the other tools, which standard for jewlers, are nothign special. This makes the list price seem ludicrous.

This kit doesn't contain the tools you need to remove the watch casing in order to change the battery. In any event, most manufacturers, including Croton, discourage that practice.

This kit get's the job done. It's still worth owning at the right price. Just try to get it on-sale if you can. Enjoy.

I purchased this kit instead of the less expensive band tool only in hopes of using the extra tools. What I failed to realize was how fragile the pin on the band link removal tool was. I failed to line it up properly on the second link and broke the pin. The kit does not have any replacement pins, thus rendering the tool useless.

The additional tools are equally useless. You probably have equivalent tools somewhere in your garage. My advice, skip this product and buy the much less expensive band replacement tool (Heavy Duty Watch Band Tool Link Pin Remover for Bracelet Adjustments Watch Sizing Repair Fix with FOUR (4) EXTRA PINS) for fifteen dollars less.

The product was everything I expected and it arrived in a timely manner. I would highly recommend others to purchase from this vendor.
