Thoroughly enjoyed John's book. It left me wanting more! Great visuals of the eagle and even more of the crow, could just see the crow gaining confidence, the light bulbs flashing, and him flying back and forth, settling in to listen some more. You read a book or a quote or see a picture that moves you and you are inspired, but that fades and you need to be reminded. That's what this book did for me. Loved the quotes about the future. Instead of loaning my copy, I'm ordering more as gifts.

A good gift for someone starting their business career with an extra kick for the sports enthusiast. The book is easy to read and the lessons relevant.

As someone with no interest in any sports I still enjoyed this book. The advice given applies to life in general and would make anyone a better person if followed. Like all of us Bob Turley has had his ups and downs, but he never gave up and came out on top!

I've never bought one of these books, but having been given The Crow and the Eagle by a close friend, I'll be buying the next Danenbarger book I see. It's marvellous and inspirational - what more can I say!

Danenbarger has hit a grand slam with this book! I wish it had been available when I started out - in business - and in my adult life. I would have required my employees to read it, memorize the lessons, and live by them. Success always comes with a price but Danenbarger's telling of Turley's story makes it clear that it can be achieved without compromising one's ethics. A great read for everyone interested in living life the way it should be done.

A fable for modern times, with a modern message - that you can do good business and be a good person. If you want to attract respect and profit in equal measure, I'd read Danenbarger's book. Or give it to someone you think could do with a dose of business ethics! Thoroughly recommended - a great book about a great sportsman who did great business and played fair.

Better than Who Moved My Cheese. Great ethical principles for building a business. Along with the humor, it was very inspiring. It shows us that we can all do something great with our lives.

This short fable is not your typical motivational book. Not many books have captured the true secret to success the way this book does. The amazing story of Bob Turley's life and success in two worlds (baseball and business) is a true inspiration that is not only a great story for adults, but great reading for the younger generation to teach them some solid principals to guide them through life.
