Beginning of an epic tragedy., September 13, 1998

This review is from: The Crow: Pain & Fear (Volume One) (Comic)
The Crow: Pain & Fear (Book 1) begins the epic journey of a young rockstar who is killed along with his girlfriend by a band of criminals. The book shows Eric Draven realizing who he has become and why, and what he must do. Guided by the ever mysterious Crow. This book is full of mature language and strong imagery, detailing Eric's revenge of the trauma caused him one year ago on Devil's Night. Truly a grand work of art.

Not exactly like the movie, but still excellent!, August 28, 1999

A few differences between this book and the movie (thanks to Hollywood). This is an excellent book. If you like/love the movie, this would definately be worth getting your hands on. It shows more of the brutatlity of Top Dollar's hoodlums. If you only want it if it is EXACTLY like the movie, don't get it. But even still, it's close enough to be tolerable. Just remember, the movie was based off of this comic. :o) veGAMan infErior
