5.0 out of 5 stars Works great
I ordered this to put down both the padding and the runner for our stairs and hallway. This amounted to more than 140 feet total for both the runner and carpet. This stapler was reliable, strong and did the job easily. It made it easy for this first time user to anchor the pad as well as the carpet runner. It was not too heavy for a woman to use either. My husband used it briefly to tack down some carpet treads on our garage steps and he was impressed by it too.

I would spend the extra $40 on the roberts, they are a well know brand for carpet tools, that's my next purchase. I think they are close to $200 at the depot but on amazon they are 109.
