The Crown of English Folk.,

This truly magnificent collection of folk songs will never be beaten. You would not beleive this was Martin on is own because their is so much raw energy produced you really beleive you are there in the recording studio with him. Palaces of Gold the only non-traditional song on the CD is all about the Aberfan disaster in the 1960's. a very sad but very true song sung with real committment. Bonny Lass of Anglesy is a real rocker. Don't just read!! Buy it!

Flawless, from start to finish. Hard to believe this was recorded 35 years ago, sounds as fresh & timeless as ever. Martin Carthy is the real deal.

One would expect a bit of misspelling, some typos, and the more than occasional grammaticle airer from some online reviewers, but that an amazon.com lister-of-items should get the title of a cd (or a book, e. g.) spelled wrongly (and an eazy one) just taketh ye cake. How do I like the cd ("Crown of Horn")? Well, it's greaet!!!
