The Crown Jewel by Fern Michaels was an amazing book. To say it has lost of twist and turns does not even descript how many plot twist this story has. The baseline of the story is about Hollywood leading man Ricky Lam and his business partner and brother Philly. Ricky was your total bad boy and Philly was always getting him out of jams. What Ricky didn't know was that his brother had secrets and lots of them. Great book - off to read more by this author - Enjoy!
I would also recommend; Accidentally Yours by Susan Mallery,Once A Rake by Rona Sharon & Into Thin Air by Cindy Miles.

Good read - 2 nights!!!!,

A movie star is given an ultimation to go into rehab or be out of his brother / manages life.Ricky (the star) then tragically loses his brother many years later to an accident and as time unfolds along with a strange will Ricky finds his brothers life was not as it would seem. He sets out on a quest to find out who the real Phily really was. Along the way his own life unfolds and in all it's a good page turning read.

I have to agree with several of the other reviewers. This is a poorly written book, and yes it is typical soap opera stuff. Her sisterhood books are usually very good. I have enjoyed many of her other books too, but this is more like a Danielle Steele book (not good). Seemed like she was filling pages with words just to lengthen the book.
