This book is all you could hope for in a historical romance,

I've read nearly all of Kimberly Cates books and think they are all great. I believe this is her first book and also one of her best. The time period it covers ( mid 1600's) it not often the setting for historical romance. The story of Brianna and Creigh and what they had to endure in order to be together was exceptional. Also, the supporting characters were well developed and added a great deal to the story. Though I figured out somewhat early on that Creigh's mother was not what he thought she was, I was still a little surprised at the ending. I had Amazon search out this book for me and I will most certainly be keeping it and rereading it in the future.
