5.0 out of 5 stars Who meets What?
Depending on my mood, I love any and all of Kalai's recordings. I was at the CD release concert for Crows Feet and couldn't get enough. I love to sing and am amazed at his vocal range and quality. I can hit all the lows but not all the highs. Don't waste time trying to categorize. Just enjoy, feel. Kalai is not Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, etc. I love Ben Harper but his bag...

2.0 out of 5 stars Different
I have this album as well as the Acoustiscm album. Love that one. Not this one. Crows feet is just so....cheesy. Poppy. I mean, talent - yes. Passion - yep. But....there were moments...ouuus and ahhhs and or chord progressions or the way an instrument was played that just made me cringe. Not to mention how starkly different this album is from the other. If you love...

There were zero scratches like i was expecting for a used c.d., the music was AWESOME like it always is when Kalai is involved, and it got to my house four days sooner than i expected it. Thanks

4.0 out of 5 stars A Musical Must, May 29, 2008
This review is from: Crows Feet (Audio CD)
Kalai weaves poetic lyrics into masterful music. I highly recommend a listen to Crows Feet. If you are a John Butler Trio or Ben Harper fan, you owe it to yourself to listen to Kalai. You should be hooked from the start of 'september' or try 'waiting for my blue sky'...also check out his other discs. All vary in style a bit and deserve an ear.

This review is from: Crows Feet (Audio CD)
Absolutely loved this album. Happened upon Kalai's myspace page which led me here. This album is addicting from start to finish. I love the mood and tone...everyone I have let listen has loved it as much as me. Worth your money.

This CD rocks! I feel like dancing when I play it. The drums and rhythms make it near impossible not to. Definitely high on my list of favorites and a worthy artist who I hope to hear more from!!!

Mind blowing! Have not been this excited over an artist since my first encounter with Jeff Buckley! God blessed your band with talent and you blessed me with this CD of which I am anxiously awaiting arrival of.

God Bless!

I have been a fan of kalai's for a couple years now, the first time I heard the song Both sides on his album Acoustacism I was hooked. Crows feet does not dissapoint, every song is beautifully played. Great Cd. Amazing song writing and his guitar playing always blows me away. One of the best musicians out there today.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fair but could be great, January 3, 2007

This simply... Jack Johnson meets Maroon 5. Sadly, its not the best of either. Fair music, but no punch to it. Unique vocals, but no special song or strength behind it. I think in a couple CD's Kailai will finally bloom.
