I owned the Samsung N110 (which met with an unfortunate accident involving nail polish remover - don't ask) and upgraded that with Crucial 2GB 256Mx64PC2-5300 CT25664AC667 DDR2 200-Pin SODIMM Laptop Memory, with no complaints. I knew I wanted to do the same with my new NC110, so I bought this. I am most definitely not tech-savvy, but install was a breeze and my computer is working flawlessly. Highly recommend if you are looking to upgrade your new NC110 Sammy netbook!

So I recently bought a new notebook (Toshiba mini, nb505) that has Windows starter. Looking at the specs, I thought it would be fine right out of the box. Oh boy, was I wrong. I didn't realize how "bloated" this "basic" OS would be. I'm used to XP, and my last netbook (ASUS something) which recently died just flew on 1GB RAM. This thing was constantly freezing, acting weird (showing a back window in front of the main one, whatever.)

Well, RAM is probably RAM from any company, but Crucial is a well spoken of company, and I updated a previous laptop with them in the past. They also have the great system on their website for finding out what kind of RAM your computer needs. Unfortunately, they told me that I needed some sort of DDR2 for my RAM, while my computer clearly uses DDR3. Toshiba must have changed which RAM they're installing in these things. It did have it out on the side that you might need DDR3 rather than the suggested DDR2, but it wasn't that obvious. They should have made it clear. To find out if your Toshiba NB505 uses DDR2 or DDR3 just look underneath your netbook for the big white sticker that has the part number and serial number. In the top right corner of that sticker it should say D2 or D3. D2 obviously means DDR2 and D3 obviously means DDR3.

Anyways, my computer is running wonderfully now that I've upgraded to 2GB RAM, plus it was a very affordable price! $13! Awesome. If you're wondering if you should upgrade or not, I say YES. Buy this, watch a youtube video, and install your own RAM. It'll probably take you 30 minutes total if you've never done it before. I've done it previously, so it probably took me longer to find the right RAM, add to my shopping cart, and process my order with Amazon than it took me to install my RAM (so, less than 10 minutes).

Buy this RAM, you won't regret it!*

*unless you bought the wrong type of RAM and this doesn't work with your computer, haha.

PS, the packaging isn't Amazon hassle free packaging, but it's not that bad. You'll probably need a good pair of scissors to cut through the packaging. The RAM is also secured QUITE strongly in the plastic that it's laid in, but it wasn't difficult to get out, I was just slightly paranoid of breaking it (an unfounded paranoia I believe...) Tons of excess packaging though, it would have easily fit in 1/3 of the size of the package, saving 2/3 of the plastic. Oh well...

Bought this for my Samsung N145 plus - Jp02 netbook. Works like a charm... The thrashing has stopped and my netbook is super fast now... Don't know why they ship netbooks with 1 GB ram though , just not enough for win 7.

IMPORTANT NOTE : JP01 uses ddr2 vs jp02 uses ddr3 . Make sure u order the right type !!

This is not the right (2G) memory for Toshiba Netbook NB305-440. According to Crucial's website the 2G memory upgrade for Toshiba's netbook is CT1290394. I can't find it on Amazon so I'm going to buy it directly from Crucial. Amazon was nice and took back the wrong/recommended one I had bought.

I bought the Crucial CT25664BC1067 2GB as an upgrade for my Acer Aspire One D255E System and it was a bust, Amazon states in the website that this product is compatible and truly is not. After receiving the memory module and going through the disappointment I went to Crucial website and using their scan application it recommended CT2035536 2GB memory module which was a perfect match and worked right on. Save the aggravation and leave the guessing job to the professionals at Crucial, the price for the upgrade was $21.99 and free shipping.

I bought this memory module for my new Samsung NC-110 Netbook which came with 1 GB of memory installed. The price is very good, the installation is a breeze and the resulting performance improvement (on my machine) was significant. I was not sure about the product number since it was different than the one recommended for my computer by Crucial on their website. However, upon calling Crucial and checking with one of their sales representative, it turns out that they have wholesale and retail part numbers and I was able to confirm that the two part numbers pointed to the same module. A great buy.

I bought this item to upgrade my HP Mini 210 that came with 1GB RAM. I was hoping this will work because I read some reviews that there are some models of HP Mini which cannot be upgraded. I'm ready to throw away my $13 if this upgrade will not work.I got the memory module today and installed it right away. Well, it worked. My HP Mini now has 2GB RAM. Thanks to Crucial CT25664BC1067 2GB 204-PIN PC3-8500 SODIMM DDR3 Memory Module.

I bought and installed this for my fiancee's late 2009 Macbook. She has the one with the rubber bottom and no aluminum body (If you want to make sure it works on a specific model you have). If there are problems, I'll update this post. Otherwise, the laptop is showing the full 4GB of ram and they installed easily enough. I have no reason not to give five stars considering everything has worked three days in.

Brought to upgrade the 1gb on the Samsung N145-JP02 netbook. Installation was a piece of cake, netbook read the new 2gb memory with no issues and the netbook works a lot faster than it did before the upgrade! A must have for anyone with a netbook with only 1gb. Great price from Amazon...I just am disappointed in Amazon sitting on the order for 5 days before sending it out!

I just got this ram for my new ASUS 1015PED. I read some reviews here that said it didn't work for this netbook, but it does. The reason for that might be that Amazon sometimes merges reviews from different items into one. But to try to clarify the problem, what I found out about the memory compatibility issues for the ASUS 1015PED is that this model needs a ram module that has only 8 chips. This is the case for this item whose model number is CT25664BC1067.

If you have this netbook and are concerned about buying something that will not work, just check that you are getting that same model number and you should be fine.
