My T61P is rated for 3GB, XP-32 by Lenovo, but the chipset says otherwise.
I installed these DIMMs and they work like a champ. Installed Windows 7, and all 8GB is seen. Performance is as expected, since it's the max speed supported by this chipset. "Windows Experience" for RAM is 6.1.
No flakies, no hangs, etc. Very stable running MS Office 2010, Libre Office 3.3, Osmos (the game), Firefox 10, Thunderbird 10, VirtualBox 4, VMWare 7, and anything else I can throw at it.

Put this package into my Mac Book Pro (Summer 2007/MacBookPro3,1/SMC version 1.18f5) and it came up without a hitch, identified all 8GB, and has been running fine. Quite the speed increase on Lion coming from 2GB, Ill tell you.
