Old Look Mexico, September 14, 2010
One of the most underrated bands out there that actually have talent is irrefutably Look Mexico. Their sound is extremely unique and refreshing, being more convoluted and catchy than their contemporaries Minus The Bear & American Football, whom they are often compared to. But that's just being lazy to say they all sound alike- Look Mexico brings some very impressive talent and individuality to the table. This collection includes tracks from their first 2 EPs before the incredible "This Is Animal Music" along with some interesting, albeit unnecessary remix tracks of songs from that album. The lyrics are well thought out and written, the instrumentation is out of this world complex, and the album is just really great to listen to. I highly recommend it!
