Worked like a charm in my 12" Apple PowerBook 1.5Ghz notebook. Installation was a snap and the OS detected it on the first reboot -- and what a difference it's made!

One day my ReadyNAS NV+ array went into a perpetual Booting... Please Wait... mode. I opened a trouble ticket with Netgear and got into an endless loop with them as well. They kept asking me if I could access the array over the network. "No, it won't boot up." Eventually I found the diagnostic mode, ran a RAM test which showed a problem with the RAM and a cryptic code. I asked Netgear if buying a new RAM module might help with the problem and what the code meant. They asked me what RAIDAR was saying about the array (nothing, since it wouldn't connect, and it wouldn't boot up). So I decided to just try it and I bought the RAM. Popped it in, did another test for good measure. It came back clean and my array worked again. Awesome.

This memory card works great with my 15" PowerMac laptop. I've had a noticeable increase in speed with no hitches.

works with powerbook g4. Although the increase in RAM from 512 mb to 1.5gb only had minimal improvements.

When you consider the cost of memory today, this 1GB module is expensive. But since my LT is old and that they probably stopped making mem upgrades for it after this size, the performance improvement is well worth it! When I put it in, my LT took off like a rocket. Of corse any memory will make some difference, but this was so much better than I expected, I had to look at my old card again to verify its 512MB size. Much to my surprise and delight that wasn't the case, it was instead 256MB. Still, there was a huge boost in my applications execution speed and almost no delays or hang-ups with multiple apps running. I even tried running a game just for grins, that I wouldn't have even tried before and it ran great. I'll be trying more of these soon, which should be interesting to see how far and fast I can really go. All the other memory hogs like videos, music, downloads, youtube and the like worked amazingly well, And Amazons' speed of shipping was as always, amazing also. I had my box on the porch in a just a couple of days. Kudo's to them for that! So if you have an aging LT not getting much use cause it's so slow, I highly recommend trying this mem upgrade before donating that old one or dropping a wad on another new LT, even if they are down in price. This is still cheaper n' greener and will make you feel better about reviving your old love for why you bought that LT in the first place(assuming you were as I was, pleased about that purchase to begin with). Have fun!

I thought at first to get the Fujitsu brand SODIMM for my Fujitsu N5010 to ensure compatibility, until I looked at my current factory installed memory. They were both made by different companies in different countries. Looking closer at the Fujitsu products I was considering, the specifications did say that they could be manufactured by any one of several different companies, so it seemed that using a Crucial product (which also can be made by many of the same companies) would not necessarily be any more complicated.

This product was not listed on the compatibility charts I could find for my laptop, but it seemed to have the correct specifications, so I took a chance and ordered it. I panicked at first when it seemed that the pins didn't line up with the slots in my bay, but then I realized that they just put their brand sticker on the other side from the memory module from the ones I had installed, and if I flipped the module over, it fit just fine.

My machine recognized the new memory immediately and has been cruising along noticeably faster since then. I went from 750 MB to 1.5 GB with this upgrade, and it has made bootup and running Photoshop run much faster. I can even run Photoshop with Lightroom simultaneously. Previously, Lightroom was painfully slow (requires 1 GB memory, according to the box), but now is much more smooth.

I am very happy with this upgrade.

It's hard to find a memory module that works in my older SPARC-based ReadyNAS. This one fits the bill, passes all the memory tests, and works very well.

Installed easily, booted up without any issues. Running Compaq Presario V2000. Also note this is the same RAM as Crucial CT435935.
