I read this as Crucifax Autumn in the limited uncut edition, way back when. It takes all the demonic fears of rock music to a violent extreme, and was a very entertaining and gruesome read. It is a classic of the horror genre and still resonates with me to this day.

I really enjoyed this story-- it has a really fascinating premise, and delivers a constant tension that wraps you up in an entertaining bundle of anxiety. But of course if you like dark horror, you really can't go wrong with any Ray Garton story.

I can tell this book was written in the 80s because that in my opinion was when horror was in its prime. It's a gory and fun read and in my opinion would have made a great 80s horror flick. It has everything I like in a horror story, evil forces, bored, frustrated youth and rock n roll. Some of the scenes are pretty gory (especially the abortion scene) so this book is not for the faint of heart.

I first read this book on my kindle. My kindle rule is that if I really like a book I read on my device, I immediately order a print copy and that's what I did with this book.
