5.0 out of 5 stars The Crucifixion - What Really Happened and Why
Excellent, gripping and inspiring. This book brought a whole new Light to my view on religion. It was refreshing to read something as controversial as the subject "Jesus" that actually tied into my spiritual studies of Truth. These writings are a great start for psychological healing, as well as spiritual healing...take a chance and expand your mind...

Stop! Don't pass go. Save your money for a couple other texts I'll be happy to recommend you buy from Amazon. The author of THE CRUCIFIXION: WHAT REALLY HAPPENED AND WHY sent me an email, after finding my address posted with a review for Iyanla Vanzant's excellent book, ONE DAY MY SOUL OPENED UP. He promised THE CRUCIFIXION would prove to be an even more powerful book than Vanzant's. He did not identify himself as the author. I read the reviews on Amazon, then realized the email I received was from the author. What gall! But, impressed by the reviews here ("I cried."), I bought the book. Now I'm here to say I think the author is a long way off from having the kind of powerful, consciousness raising book Vanzant writes. What's more if I were to recommend any books these days to those who are on a spiritual path, I would recommend two books by Ervin Seale, which can be purchased from Amazon. The first is the amazing TEN WORDS THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. The second is a book that does a much better job than THE CRUCIFIXION of explaining why Jesus came here and what he had to say. That book is titled LEARN TO LIVE, THE MEANING OF THE PARABLES. Seale, for those of you who aren't familiar, is a big fan of the founder of New Thought, Phineas Quimby, a man who had little interest in starting a religion (just like Jesus) way back in the nineteenth century and only wanted people to understand how they can create a life of wealth, happiness, and health (also just like Jesus). Both of Seale's books are easy to read. And they will probably give you all kinds of insight into how you can gain new powers in your life. I know, because I have already managed to manifest an assortment of mind blowing feats since reading them. If you want to discuss it, my email address is posted. If you doubt me, that's your loss, and I could care less. My life is going just great now. As for the reviews below, I'm guessing Joe managed to post them on his own for the sake of his book. I mean if the guy will mail unsuspecting reviewers a letter that promises they aren't wasting their money on a book he wrote, how can we trust the reviews below weren't posted by him? I'd suggest Joe pay more attention to the books that are already out there on the bestseller list and try to understand what makes them so successful. It wasn't because the authors sent emails to unsuspecting people.

Excellent, gripping and inspiring. This book brought a whole new Light to my view on religion. It was refreshing to read something as controversial as the subject "Jesus" that actually tied into my spiritual studies of Truth. These writings are a great start for psychological healing, as well as spiritual healing...take a chance and expand your mind. There really is something much simpler than the rituals of fear and shame that have been taught to our society. John explains the Truth as something easier to understand. It simply and lovingly makes sense, not to the five senses, but to the "Soul's Sense". My thanks to Joseph Albiani and to John Zebedee! God Bless You!

5.0 out of 5 stars Like a thunder it awakes me, like a river it lingers..., July 1, 1999

Recently I was contacted by a very special person who told me about this book. I was honored by that, and ordered it through a local bookstore immediately (influenced by the book 'Celestine Prophecy: There is a reason why that person contacted me.) I put down another book I just began reading (Majugorje- The Message) for a moment, and saw myself continued reading this book, I could not put it down (that was early this morning 3 a.m. and I had to go to work in the morning) even my eyes could not open any more (it was specially sweet at that time when I was reading the end part of the book, in the garden, Yeshua wanted the deciples to open their eyes yet they could not because it was really late in the hours.) An sharp-awakening book! Life changing statements! Breath-taking!-- all piercing into the deepest hidden part of my heart and soul. Such joy, such delight, such is the gift reading this book! This book is different, it is astonishing, it applies to me! It hits me as a roaring thunder, yet like a hundred-mile river, I know each time I re-read it, there will be so much to see. I thank the author, Gerry and John and all the others. My urge to the authors: 1) Let us know more in details on many of the issues / subjects which were mentioned in the book. I know that will happen. i.e. more books from you. 2) Meet with the authors of the book 'The Messengers', by Julia Ingram and G.W. Hardin. The way John looked at Yeshua is quite different than the way Saul/ Paul did. The reason is quite simple, it was because John and Paul were different type of people. It is sweet to see there were only 11 desciples at the last super, where was Paul? Paul was somewhere else, worrying!! 3) I wonder where the soul of Judas be placed after this - please refer to 'Journey of Souls' by Michael Newton. This was my first time reading a book and literally would not put it down even my eyes hurt so much. Yes, that powerful! I thank the authors so much, especially Joseph Albiani.

An inspiring look into the mindset and intimate thoughts of John Zebedee - the Apostle. Joseph Albiani does an excellent job of interviewing John Z. (as channeled through Gerry), and walking the reader through the events leading up to and through the crucifixion of Jesus. I guarantee you will be awe struck with a few of the revelations in this account! There are numerous new discoveries and accounts, of the life and times of Jesus, becoming available to seekers. This book is a definite asset to that growing body of evidence and knowledge. Please take Joe up on his offer to send him questions for John Z. that will appear in future books. I will be looking forward to the next in the YESHUA BEN YOSEF SERIES.

1.0 out of 5 stars pathetic, puerile, and obnoxious, May 21, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Crucifixion - What Really Happened and Why (Yeshua Ben Yosef Series) (Paperback)
As a committed Christian scholar, I was skeptical of this work, but I gave it a whirl nonetheless. I am not sure which sickened me more: the authors' chutzpah or their ignorance. Basing a supposedly serious Christian work upon the output of a Ouija board has little, if anything, to do with the message of Jesus of Nazareth--although the toy did briefly amuse me and some friends as a teen. To seek the word of the Lord at a séance violates the entirety of the Christian doxology. In addition, the gratuitous attribution of any Buddhist influence upon Christ merely demonstrates that the authors have a weak grasp of religion--beyond what they might have gleaned by expending a few weeks dipping their toes in the periphery of the Neophyte section of the Rosicrucian tradition. It is anticlimactic (and probably goes without saying) to note the proliferation of editorial flaws throughout this "work": the words seekn, raucus, Gethsemene, and real ity [sic] appear, and the authors do not know the difference between it's and its or the fact that Ouija (a trademark) is capitalized. The only advice I can give the authors and their unfortunate readers is, "Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen." (1 John 5:21)

5.0 out of 5 stars A Jesus I can understand and relate to, August 30, 2000
By
John Korke (Birmingham, Alabama) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Crucifixion - What Really Happened and Why (Yeshua Ben Yosef Series) (Paperback)
This book while small in size is overpowering in its relevance. For the first time Jesus sounds like a regular man with extraordinary understanding. John's closeness to him allows the reader to be there as they walk through the villages and speak to the mostly confused people they meet. Jesus has a sense of humor and John explains the reaction of those close to him. Many times they were afraid of this man who did so many strange things. But his overwhelming love made them feel safe and chanaged their lives.Definitely a book for those who always liked Jesus but were put off by the fire and brimstone churches who seem to not get his message of compassion and forgiveness.

5.0 out of 5 stars A personal and deeply moving view of Jesus The Master, June 6, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Crucifixion - What Really Happened and Why (Yeshua Ben Yosef Series) (Paperback)
The Crucifixion brings to life Jesus the man, in a fresh, intimate, and profoundly moving way. Reading the first-hand account of events in the life of Jesus as witnessed by the Apostle John brought me to tears and reminded me yet again of the ultimate Truth and Purpose of God in our lives. Many new details and circumstances surrounding the life and teachings of The Master Jesus are brought forth in a personal and effective way through the dialogue between the Apostle John (John Zebedee) and Joe Albiani. I highly recommend this book to all who might wish to know more about the life of Jesus, and/or who seek to find God within their own lives

This review is from: The Crucifixion - What Really Happened and Why (Yeshua Ben Yosef Series) (Paperback)
I've read quite a few "I was there with Jesus / The truth about Jesus" books, so I only read this one on someone's recommendation. The cover didn't impress me either! However, I was very pleasantly surprised. It's not a run-of-the-mill "report". There is also a very coherent message in the book, not just a really credible account of the whole situation. It confirmed some of my beliefs and gave me lots of food for thought, as well as answering some of the questions I carry around with me. I gave it five stars because it did a lot more for me than just give an account of the crucifixion. It kind of "got me in tune again". Good feeling. The people who transcribed it seem to come from the heart too. Blessings, Paul.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, I felt as though I was actually there with Jesus!, May 23, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Crucifixion - What Really Happened and Why (Yeshua Ben Yosef Series) (Paperback)
I got a copy of the book this week and couldn't put it down once I began to read. The first hand account that John shares is powerfully moving. I felt as if I was transported back through time and space and was actually there walking beside him, witnessing these events first hand, learning from the master Jesus. It often moved me to tears, with emotions that can't be expressed in words. The sense of communion with and gratitude for this being was completely overwhelming. It has not been often that a symbol in this world has brought me to a direct experience of the christ within, this symbol did. I can't thank you both enough for your commitment and persistence in making this book a reality. It is something I know I will reference time and time again to re-kindle that spark of truth. I would recommend this book to everyone, but especially to those who have a curiosity about or are in any way drawn to the Christ. This book, this symbol, resonates and stirs the soul in such a way as to cause the reader to remember her/his connection with the christ, ever living in our hearts.

5.0 out of 5 stars a good explanation for the shroud of turin, September 21, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Crucifixion - What Really Happened and Why (Yeshua Ben Yosef Series) (Paperback)
this book has startled me with its new insights and thrilled me with its ideas! the explanation of what really happened answered a lot of questions such as - why would Jesus, a strong vital man- die in just three hours on the cross when his legs weren't broken and most people lived 24-36 hours? How did the image get onto the shroud? why would mary magdalene and John and Peter not recognize him just a few days after his "death"? Makes jesus even more loving and powerful than the churches teach. also makes him more accessable to me. Thanks you for this wonderful powerful book.I anxiously await the others that will be following tracing Yeshua after his "death" on the cross.
