I was looking around one day for some new bands to listen to and found these guys. I gave them a listen and especially liked their song "Gods Hideous Creation". I checked out the CD and loved it. If you're a fan of deathcore or death metal you will like this band. This is a solid debut for these guys and I am sure others will love them as well.

What do u say about Rose Funeral except brutal as hell. This album is one of my favorites. I play it all the time. Call them death metal,death core whatever this cd pounds u to death from start to finish. If u are not one of the faithful reveiwers on here that nit picks everything to death then buy this cd.

I really wanted to get this album after picking up their newest one, "The Resting Sonata" since I liked it so much. I must say this album is just as awesome as their newest one, especially considering that this one has almost an entirely different line up than the new one with only one band member in common between the to albums and he changed instruments.

I am new to the deathcore realm but both of Rose Funeral's albums offer up a bit more in my opinion. This first and foremost a brutal melodic death metal album and the breakdowns are so heavy they make me want to break something. Oh yes, this is that good! There are two instrumentals on the album that are back to back but this doesn't detract from the heaviness within each blasphemous song. Just from my initial listen some stand out tracks are, God's Hideous Creation, Under a Godless Sky and Eternal Regret.

If you're looking for something new and heavey as HELL then you need this album as well as The Resting Sonata. Other cool deathcore bands to check out are OCEANO, DESPISED ICON and MOLOTOV SOLUTION.

The BEST deathcore... ill even go as far as saying BEST metal album iv'e heard in a looong time!!! Rose Funeral is sooooo BRUTAL!!! Can't wait for the next album. GET THIS NOW!!!! You wont regret it!
