A very funny book.,

This review is from: Cruel Kings and Mean Queens (Paperback)
It is about a boy that got turned by a machine into a dog and the dog turning into that human. The human goes around sniffing things while the dog puts his hands on his hips. There are alot of other silly things like that. I giggled all the way through.

I read the first few pages of this book and couldn't read anymore. It dragged the story out so much I couldn't read it. I think it was a good idea for the story, but not fast-paced enough for my liking. On the other hand, my friend lovews this book. She has read the whole series of Help! I'm Trapped . . . and reads them over and over. If you don't mind slow-moving books, I think you might like this book.

Help! I'm Trapped In Obedience school,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Cruel Kings and Mean Queens (Paperback)
I highly recommend this book to 4th and 5th grade students. I give this book ****(4) stars and this is why!
Did you ever switch bodies with a dog ? Or have you ever met anyone who has ever switched bodies with something else ? Well guess what? I am about to tell you a story! This book tells the story of a boy named Jake and his dog who chews on everything. Jake also has a friend Andy who does not like school. Andy wishes that he was a dog and did not have to go to school. One day, the boys and the dog Lance went for a walk. They walked to their science teacher's house, Mr. Dirksen's , Jake said there was a machine to switch bodies. The boys did not beleive him and wanted to go see the machine. The boys snuck to the garage and started playing with the machine. You can guess what happened next! Josh hits the button by mistake and it turns on, switching Lance and Andy's bodies. Lance is in Andy's body and Andy in Lances body. You have to read this book to find out what kinds of things will happen next. I highly recommend this book to kids 10 or older, especially if they love animals and funny stories. This book made me laugh but at the same time I also learned to stay away from things that do not belng to me!

Help! Im trapped in obedience schoolBy Carson I read, help! Im trapped in obedience school. Its written by Todd strasser, and the genre is fiction. He also wrote all the other, help Im trapped in books (he wrote the whole series). The plot is that, a boy named Andy, switches bodies with Jakes dog, lance (Jake is the main character), and the things they go through at home, school and on the streets. Can you guess what happened?

This book was very funny! I read it because my daughter told me how much she loved it, and I like to see what they are reading. I was actually surprised, because it is a young adult book, after all. I found myself laughing aloud in many parts of the story.

Obedienceschool, YIKES!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Cruel Kings and Mean Queens (Paperback)
The Main characters are Jake and his friends Josh and Andy. They were going 4 a walk to their teacher's house. The DITS, what their teacher invented, has never been seen before by Josh and Andy. Jake had brought his dog, Lance, on the walk, too. Lance immdiately layed down, in one of the machine's cages. Andy walks near the chair. Meanwhile, Josh was saying, ..."Oh, I get it" he walked over to the machine, also..."And the hunchback flipped the switch!" Josh grinned. He flipped the switch. WHUMP! Andy and Lance switched bodies. The ending was so FUNNY, you would laugh and laugh until you get the hiccups. Very weird and also intrtainng!

Help i'm trapped in obedience school,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Cruel Kings and Mean Queens (Paperback)
The main charecters are Lance, Josh, Alex, Andy, and Jessica. The plot in the begging Lance was a hyper puppy. And Jessica and Alex's parents declair that Lance had to go to obedience school. Then Andy, Alex, Josh, and Lance were on a walk. And they deside to go to Mr. Driksons house. Andy and Lance Switch places. This book was unintresting one to me. There were many intersing charecters though. The one I was mainly into was Lance. He is a spectacular charecter.I highly disliked that the book keep draging on and on about the same thing. If you are going to read the other books by this auther then you should read this book. But in my point of view I would not tell someone to read it.

A weird book,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Cruel Kings and Mean Queens (Paperback)
The author, Tom Strasser, wrote a magnificent book. There are funny and unpredictable parts like when they sneak into their science teacher's garage. You will be suprised about what happens. If you don't believe me read it. I'll give you a guess it has a lot to do with the title, an animal. The animal has to go to Obedience School. This has happened before, but not with a friend. The only people that know about it is a boy, their science teacher, and the boy's sister. At the end the little boy turns back into a person, and treats animals more differently.
