I'm very pleased with the Eyewitness Travel Guides in general, and specifically with the Europe & Mediterranean edition. I especially like the Survivors Guide and Traveler Needs sections. Other highlights include the wonderful graphics and color illustrations, compact size, and a unique ability to not only recommend the most important things to see and do, but also point out the unique and often off the beaten path places.

This is a great quick reference guide- the kind you would want to take with you. It's short and sweet, though, so if you want something more comprehensive I would go somewhere else. But get this one too!
