I bought this product because I have a 1977 Corvette that I haul on a car hauler trailer. Previously I had been getting some rock chips on the front fenders. I have hauled the Corvette and my boat a couple of times since I have installed the rock tamers and have no new chips! The install is easy and straight forward. Plus I really like the looks of it on my pickup - makes it look like a real truck now! The product is top quality through and through. The rubber mats are very heavy and will stop almost anything. I was looking at getting the brush type and I am glad I went with the Rock Tamers. Big rocks would still be able to get through the brush, but not throught the rock tamers.

I saw an earlier post about the install and that guy said he used a drill and a jig saw prepare the mats. I did that as well and it made it real easy. The rubber is pretty heavy duty and would be difficult to cut by hand. Plus, using a jig saw made it easy to get a nice straight line.

This is a great product, and I like the flexibility of being able to quicky remove it from the hitch if necessary. I will be recommending this to all my friends who haul their cars/boats!

These things are great for protecting whatever you are hauling behind your truck...
They take about 20 minutes to put together..

I installed it on my Dodge 3500. Plenty of adjustment for that perfect fit. This is a quality built product that is easy to install. Lots of stainless hardware. Best of all, it works great.
