I really take no issue with the previous review, but the real beauty of the cruisin' series is the DJ patter and commercials. Having lived in Washington, D.C. in the early 70's; Harve Moore is a legend. No moring was complete without him, and later J.Michael Wilson on WRC. To trash the album is to trash the series, and especially the host DJ.

Many of the songs on this recording are neither 1969 hits nor 1969 recordings (but since they were played on the radio in 1969, they are apparently eligible for inclusion on the CD). The interview by Don and Mike (Geronimo/O'Meara) on their syndicated radio show a few years ago with Harve Moore (Now retired in Buffalo) was a classic when they played cuts from the album of his bits.

Although I lived in various cities, I am a native of Pittsburgh, and I am looking to see if there are more in this series since 1969. To my surprise, found cruising with Porky (Chedwick). To those baby boomers, from Pittsburgh, this one is a must.
