This is an excelent book for Puget Sound boaters, A DEFINATE MUST BUY!
It is very easy to find locations and is up to date. A crusing guide lists, Beauty/interest, Protection, Facilities, Latitude and longitude, Phone numbers and web sites of marinas, parks, etc. It also has many wonderful color pictures of area atractions, plus charts and tidal curent charts

This is a much better book than Gunkholing in the South Puget Sound which is eight years out of date.

This is a must have boaters book if you live in the Puget Sound area. Very detailed in the points of interest, each one is clearly described and rated. Some charting is included for difficult harbors, approaches are described. This gives us (new boaters and new Washingtonians) a great place to start in our explorations. Highly recommended!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Guide to a Great Place, August 28, 2005
By
Simon Cox "Salty Simon" (North Andover, MA, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Cruising Guide to Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands: Olympia to Port Angeles (Spiral-bound)
An excellent guide to this outstanding cruising area; obviously well researched and very well written and compiled. From a pilotage viewpoint, it could be improved with a few, more detailed "chartlets" of some of the more difficult approaches and port/dock entries, but the first rate collection of photographs and especially the superb aerial photographs (by Neil Rabinowitz) provide make up for this very minor deficiency.
