Making the transition from monohull to multi may well be within any dedicated sailor's means, but it doesn't hurt to be armed with some practical wisdom before taking the plunge. Chuck Kantor is a highly recognized expert on sailboats and especially catamarans. From a been there, done that and the knowledge from a long term surveyor perspective, this book is a definative volume on catamaran sailboats. Of particular interest is Chuck's analysis of a huge number & range of production catamarans. The book is loaded with tips & techniques for existing cat sailors, but is especially useful to the monohull sailor thinking of moving to a more comfortable, spacious boat or the person new to sailing who are looking for a first boat.
