5.0 out of 5 stars Cruit by Patrick Cassidy, July 5, 2000

This review is from: Cruit (Audio CD)
This is one of my favorite CD's. We first bought it on a trip to Ireland and it was stolen out of our car. Since we liked it so much, we bought another one (from Amazon, of course!). Cassidy is a young Irish composer and arranger whose personal instrument specialty is the harp. He is influenced by the Baroque composers and the music on this CD reminds you somewhat of Vivaldi. If you like Vivaldi, you'll like this album. It's Irish harp music at its best in the context of a baroque ensemble - not overly harp-ish, the other instruments get their turn too. A wonderful and relaxing album to listen to. It's the best of the three.
