"Government...take a back seat in my daily affairs", October 12, 2004
This review is from: The Crumbling Wall Against Tyranny: a/k/a The United States Constitution (Paperback)
T.V Weber's book "United States Constitution, The Crumbling Wall Against Tyranny" is a message about good intentions given a nation gone awry in certain situations. I liked the book for it's historical content intertwined with hypothetical situations. One can always use a good history lesson and the author has some definite viewpoints on governmental intrusion into our daily lives. Our wonderful nation, the United States of America, was founded by brave individuals who spoke up against what was unfair in being ruled by England. They fought and sacrificed for our unalienable rights, for the freedom to "Live and Let Live". However, in recent decades there has been a slow regression of those rights, which T.V. Weber has used modern day situations to illustrate examples of just that. In this marvelous land of the free and home of the brave the internal struggle within our society seems to be withering away to a nation of indecisive, immoral, money hungry cowards looking for popularity. We need people to go back to our original roots of what our Founding Fathers stood for and T.V. Weber makes many good points to that effect.

The Crumbling Wall Against Tyranny: A/K/A The United States, October 6, 2004
This review is from: The Crumbling Wall Against Tyranny: a/k/a The United States Constitution (Paperback)
The Crumbling Wall against Tyranny is the most interesting book that I've ever seen on the American Revolution, our sytem of government, and the current state of affairs. The book is authorative, yet humorous at times. Complicated legal concepts are explained in terms that I, a mere high school/trade school grad, can easily understand. I was particularly impressed with the authors ability to relate experiences of growing up in a small town to our national government(Chapters 8&9). I, too, grew up in such a small town, albeit my small town was 500 miles away and considerably colder, yet it seemed the same as my little town. In summary, I was very impressed with "The Crumbling Wall Against Tyranny" and I would recommend it to any one interested in American government especialy the parents of students who are studying or will be studying the constituion.
