Fits everything I have and then some...,
By Lou Hamilton (Frederick, MD) - See all my reviews It also has room for at least one or two more lenses or flashes. It can also hold a soda bottle and a small lunch or snack. The only design flaw that I can see is that there probably should have been two clasps on the fron t in stead of one. However, this only comes into play when you use the handle instead of the shoulder strap. Anyone looking for a camera bag that doesn't looks like your typical camera bag and wants a lot of room for growth should consider this bag. I would highly recommend this bag.

Last year i purchased a 17-55f2.8is lens for my Canon DSLR, which meant that my old camera bag of 20yrs just would not take my gear..
Damn, I hated that. I was really looking to get a backpack rather than a shoulder bag, but evena fter buying a Tamrac adventure 7 i found that a) there really is NOT a lot of room in any reasonable sized backpack and b) you have to take the thing off to get a camera out..what use is that?.. This bag nas 2 smaller brothers but this one could take all my gear and lunch too.. I own canon 40D, 17-55f2.8is, sigma 12-24, caonon 70-300is and 420ex flash. Interestingly, though the bag will take all of this gear and allow the camera to be stored with lens on vertically, there is actually sufficient height for the gear to be in two layers, with the camera/lens on top laying horizontally. well made, very flexible, doesnt look like a camera bag and a fair price. very satisfied.

This guys holds a lot and does it in style. Right now it is carrying...
Nikon D80 Nikon 80-200mm Nikon 60mm Macro Nikon 55mm Nikon 18-135mm Tokina 10-17mm Nikon SB-600 Nikon MD-MB80 Light Meter iPod Nine 62mm lens filters One 1.7x adapter lens Five SD cards Twelve AA batteries One on-flash diffusor One 7-in-1 flash screen AA Battery Charger Nikon EL-En3 Charger Everything in its place and everything has a place. Only two things are missing. Straps to hold a small tripod A 1 inch separator to hold a thin laptop. You can ALMOST squeeze a Macbook Pro 15" into the bag, but miss it by about 1" in width and then you would need a separator to keep it on its own side. This can be done by getting the Brazillon Dollar Bag but then you add over $100 to the price and end up with a HUGE bag. If you are just carrying photography equipment, I can't imagine a more comfortable, versatile, stylish bag. Plus it doesn't look like you are carrying $10,000 in equipment.

Superb quality, but too big for walk around,

I bought this bag to replace a Tamrac bag I'm currently using. The Tamrac bag got too small to carry all my gear so I was hoping that the Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home would be my new walk around bag for my Canon Digital Rebel XT.
The bag is roomy and well padded. It's divided into 5 compartments (that I think can be redefined by moving the separators). The middle compartment is for the camera with an attached lens and the two on either end can hold lenses or flash unit. The flap has zippered pocket that you can use to store extra CF cards or battery. And the front has another pocket secured with a big velcro patch. I have decided to use this bag whenever I want to haul all my stuff for a shoot, but I'm considering the 5 Million Dollar Home for my walk around bag. I forgot to mention, this bag looks really cool and does not look like a typical camera bag!

Fits my 15" Macbook Pro,

I read that other reviewers weren't able to get a laptop into this bag, but if one is so inclined to adjust the interior velcro padding, it is easily possible to fit a 15" Macbook Pro. I have more adjustment until I'm comfortable that the laptop is adequately protected, but this bag has the room. Great bag. The workmanship appears to be absolutely top-notch.

Crumpler Makes The Best Camera Bag. Period!,

A good camera bag does a lot more than hold your equipment. A good camera bag PROTECTS your equipment AND is flexible so that when you add new pieces to your rig there's room. This bag does all of this, PLUS it doesn't look like a typical camera bag which makes it an excellent deal. I shopped far and wide before buying the Crumpler and I am completely satisfied! My rig includes a Canon 5D, FOUR big lenses, a Sony HD Camcorder, Flash and lots of filters, spare batteries and lens care items. This bag holds it all with room to spare.

Crumpler - A handy bag to have,

This is the perfect bag for anyone who has a fair amount of camera stuff and doesn't want to hassle with taking a backpack on and off if you want to switch lenses quickly. I like just being able to pop it open and get what I need without to much hassle. My only complaints about the bag is the lack of a pocket on the back and possibly on one of the sides. There was the perfect condition to place one there, especially on the back. I often use it as a purse when I am out shooting, and is a pain to have to open the bag to pull out keys or a license. The bag holds up very well (and I am tough on them!)and doesn't scream camera bag.

This bag is carrying my Canon 40D with 28-135mm lens, and I could carry several other lenses, flashes, etc and not be crowded. I probably should have bought the smaller 6 mill or even 5 mill, but after buying a Tamrac bag that was supposed to fit my camera and didn't, I didn't want to take any chances. This bag will give me lots of room to grow. The velcro is good 'error proofing', if you forget to close the snap you probably won't drop your camera out of the bag, but is very loud and might become a problem in quiet settings. All in all, love the bag.

Lowepro Topload Zoom 1 Camera Bag (Black)
Lowepro Topload Zoom 2 Camera bag (Black) Lowepro Nova 3 AW Camera Bag (Black) Lowepro CompuTrekker AW Camera Backpack (Black) Crumpler THE WHICKEY AND COX Camera Backpack (Gun Metal/Grey) Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home Photo Bag (Dark Red / Red / Dark Blue) I have some decent photo gear, and I wanted a good bag to hold most, if not all of my equipment when on the go. * I started off with the TMZ1 when I just had a D70 w/ kit lens. * Stepped up to the TMZ2 when I got my 40D w/ kit lens. * Went with the Nova 3 AW when I added a 24-105 L lens & 580EX flash to my 40D * My collection grew some more and I found myself with no place to put my gear, so I opted to go with a larger backpack that could accommodate a laptop ** Whickey & Cox was a very nice backpack, excellent padding but the shape limited the amount of gear (body, 2 lens & flash and some accessories) ** Computrekker AW was able to fit my whole collection & my laptop, but, the overall package looked HUGE, not very inconspicuous... So, I bought a 7 Million Dollar Home bag and I can't be happier (almost). In this bag, I store a Canon 40D & grip w/ 24-105 f/4 L attached, 70-200 f/2.8 L IS, 17-40 f/4 L, 50 f/1.4, 580 EX II flash & various accessories & hoods. The strap is comfortable, the interior is smooth with strong velcro, making for easy, endless configurations. Best of all, the bag isn't very "camera bag like", looks almost like a diaper bag for my baby. The bag weighs around 10 pounds fully loaded, but, its very easy on the shoulders. The padding on this bag isn't as grand as either of my other backpacks, but, decent. I expected a little more for such an expensive bag. The only other complaint I have, is that there is only 1 velcro on the front, so when you carry the bag by the top handle, the bag shows some distress.

Amazing!,
By The only bad thing I could say about this is the holes. It doesn't zip up, just a buckle and velcro. It covers the front pretty good, but if you don't close it just right, there are some pretty large holes. Not too bad, but sand can get in it. City wise, it is perfect. |
