5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely Waterproof!
I have the $4 M bag. I left it out in the pouring rain with my precious SLR in it for 45 minutes straight-the camera didn't have a drop on it!

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice bag with a few major design problems
I've had this bag for a few years now. I is a nice bag but, the giant velcro piece on the outer flap is very noisy! This is almost always an issue since photographers are most likely shooting in places where they don't want to be noticed like weddings, events, nature, special places, nature, etc. The outer flap is the only cover for the top of the bag so, you can't place...

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Bag - Too Expensive, April 21, 2008
By
This review is from: Crumpler 5 MILLION DOLLAR HOME Shoulder Photo Bag (Dark Brown/Oatmeal/Light Olive) (Electronics)
This bag is very sturdy and has a logical arrangement of pockets & cubbies. If you arrange it right, you can get a pretty good amount of stuff in the bag. I carry: a D80w/battery grip attached, 18-200 lens attached, Sigma 10-20 lens, SB-400 flash, spare memory card, batteries, lens pen. After that, I can squeeze in my car keys and a small cell phone. It's stuffed to the gills, but it all fits.

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could because I DO think Crumpler bags are outrageously priced - but it won't stop me from upgrading to the 6 million dollar home. If you live/photograph in an Urban area, the last thing you want is a bag that screams "Camera Gear."

5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality Bag, November 28, 2006

I recently purchased the 5 Million Dollar bag for my new Canon Rebel XT digital camera, and the size is perfect. This bag will easily fit a good-sized digital camera with lens attached, and has room leftover for instruction manual, battery charger, etc. I am also very impressed with the quality of this bag; it is very well made, and doesn't look like a typical camera bag. It's masculine enough that my husband will even carry it on vacation! I highly recommend this bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent little travel bag, September 24, 2007
I bought this bag for when I'm not really going out to do photography. It's great for carrying when I'm out with my family or going on a walk through the city. It'll hold my 350D with 17-85 IS attached and the 70-200mm f/4L IS next to it. You can squeeze a small flash in the front pocket if need be.

The bag is really well built and comes with two well made dividers, it's so small though I usually only end up using one.

I love this bag. Everything about it screams quality. I hated the idea of going to a backpack to hold my stuff, but I thought I might have to, until I found this bag. Most people will only have a camera w/lens, and either two spare lenses or a lens and a flash. I am able to put my D40 with the huge 18-200 and hood in the center section. Then on one side I have a 10.5mm and a 50mm together, with one of them wrapped in a handkerchief. On the other side I have a flash and neckstrap. Now the 10.5mm and the 50mm are both pretty compact little lenses, so your mileage may vary in getting two larger lenses on one side.

It's very well padded and fashionable, with plenty of pockets. I have some spare cards, a reader, some filters and a microfiber in the front pouch with plenty more room to spare.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great bag!, May 25, 2008
I can fit my Canon XT (lens attached), two additional lenses, user manual, and all of the items that I normally carry in my purse. The bag is durable and has ample padding to protect my camera and lenses.

This bag is very nicely made with plenty of pockets and details. The inside is well padded to protect your gear with enough room for an SLR with a lens, maybe an extra lens and accessories and enough room left over to also tuck in your wallet if you just want to carry one bag.

I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because it doesn't come with a padded shoulder strap. For the price, a padded shoulder strap should be included.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Pleased, January 18, 2009
This review is from: Crumpler 5 MILLION DOLLAR HOME Shoulder Photo Bag (Dark Brown/Oatmeal/Light Olive) (Electronics)
I had never seen a Crumpler in person but I really liked the idea of a "camera bag that doesn't look like a camera bag". When I recieved this, I was very pleased with the size of this bag- I thought it'd be smaller. It fits my Canon XTi + 18-55mm, 70-300mm, and all the accessories that I need (battery charger, USB cable, etc.). The velcro that attaches the top flap to the bag is very secure. The added buckle is a bonus, even though the velcro would probably keep the bag shut by itself. I love the entire bag, couldn't ask for anything more.

Great bag for my Nikon D80. I originally bought the 3 million dollar (think) but it was just too tight. Got this and have the camera and flash in the bag. Looks great - has held up great. Thinking about gettinga Crumpler for my MacBook Pro.
