BLENDER, January-February 2006

"From balls-out insane to merely buck-wild...songs are consistently glutteal, brandy-soaked and imaginatively profane throughout...this is the joint."

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Crunk Hits (Audio CD)
This CD is perfect for anyone that likes to have fun in the club. Every song on the CD is awesome and the bass is thumpin. I listen to this all the time wether Im walking home from Jr.high, or when Im playing basket ball with my friends. I even put this CD on my Ipod. At all our school dances, they even played some of these songs. Some of the biggest names in hip hop are listed on here from names like Usher, to three 6 mafia and all the way to killer mike. Any body who likes the southern style will love this. The songs are:

Yeah-Usher w/Ludacris & Lil Jon: Every bodys heard this song, and still, no one is tired of it, great way to begin a great CD

Get Low-Lil Jon w/Ying Yang twins: If you hate this song, you should be shot. The thump of the bass almost hypnotizes you into listening to more of his music.

Rubber Band Man-T.I.: This beat gets incredibly annoying after the first minute, I think they should've put this song towards the middle.

Right Thurr-Chingy: Lets face it Chingy sucks, but this song is awesome, this is one of the few good songs he let out there.

Goodies-Ciara w/Petey Pablo: I dont really listen to Ciara, but Petey Pablo is pretty cool, I just wish they put Freek-a-leek on here.

Saltshaker-Ying Yang twins w/Lil Jon: This songs fun, but if you listen to at least twice a day it gets kind of annoying.

Ridin Spinners- Three 6 mafia w/ Lil flip: Three 6 mafia one of the coolest groups around and they always will be, this song is the best.

Game over-lil flip: Perfect timing, right after the end of ridin spinners a guys talking and hangs up and it kind of blends in with the begining of this song. Lil flip is cool and this song has a cool beat.

Lets Go- Trick daddy w/Lil Jon, twista: this song is cool, its better than that over played song Surga.

Slow Motion- Juvenile w/soulja Slim: The lyrics are good and the beats okay, but the remix is kind of creepy

Toma- Pitbull w/ Lil Jon: this song was cool and he didnt speak cuban through the whole song like in Culo

Na-NaNa-Na- Nelly w/ Jazze Pha: I've been listening to nelly for a few years now, and it seems like he only puts the good songs on the radio, then, he puts a bunch of crap on his CD.

A.D.I.D.A.S.- Killer Mike w/ Big boi: This songs funny, but I dont see how it would count as "crunk"

Are we cuttin- Pastor troy w/ Ms.Jade: It's okay, but Pastor troys voice can get annoying after a while.

My neck, My back- Khia: I skipped this one

Da*n- Young bloodz w/ Lil Jon: Young bloodz are pretty cool, I like this song better than presidential.

Nookie- Jackio w/ Rodney: I skipped this one

You dont want drama- 8ball & MJG: Great way to end the Cd

Even though this is a compilation, it does not have enough good songs to sit and listen to it from start to finish (like a lot of Billy Joel albums). However, if you have an MP3 Player you can use at most 3 songs from this for the sake of having something up-tempo to run to.

All in all, this is worth a second hand purchase price.
