This is actually a fun, durable set. The figures are made of soft PVC (a little rubbery), which helps the paint stick and makes the figures very durable. Yes, as the other reviewer pointed out the downside is warping. However, to eliminate warping they would have to use a stiff plastic that would be more fragile. The paint job is nothing to complain about for a $10 set... well worth it.

The Crusader Knight & Horse figure playset by BMC was very disappointing.
The figures were warped and the painting was poor in quality. However, our grandson seemed to enjoy playing with them in spite of their poor quality. The product was way overpriced for the quality.

Nice set of knights and horses. I bought 2 of these along with a castle set for my 10 year old who's into medieval battles. The figures have nice details and are fairly durable. Some had to be slightly bent in order to get them to stand, but that wasn't a problem at all. The horses were in gallopping poses and the rider-knights rode upright once placed on the steeds. My son enjoys his imaginary battles and I adore watching him have a fun time with it.

My 4 yr old loves these! More detailed and better quality then the tube figures. Great for the money!

These medieval knight figures are very nicely detailed and sturdy -- I'm very pleased with them. They have been placed in a diorama with a castle, moat, forest, etc., and make a great addition.

These knights were larger than I expected. Almost 3 inches tall! They seem to be hand painted and actually have a lot of detail. The set I received were actually white and black instead of Blue and Red, but this does not bother me. My son loves to play with them!
