5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent remake of unsung PSP classic April 28, 2012
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
The original PSP version of this game, called CRUSH, was highly rated by reviewers at the time, but apparently didn't make much of an impact in sales. Luckily, the publisher and developer believed in the concept of the game and created this remake with the enhancement of 3D on the 3DS. I've played-through both versions of the game and they are a highlight of my portable gaming library.
Graphics - The graphics have been re-painted with a brighter color scheme that makes the levels easy to see, though these puzzles can be very difficult. I prefer the 3DS graphics to the PSP original.
Sound - Excellent music soundtrack. I wish I could purchase it for listening on my iPod.
Gameplay - The reason to buy this game. It's a unique gameplay mechanic that is extremely rewarding when you finally get through the level. There are several bonus items that are optional to collect on each level so you can sort of choose your difficulty.
Bonuses - I found it fascinating to read the developer commentary on many of the bonus art that you can unlock. I wish this was done much more often in videogames (since it is standard on movie DVDs).

Overall - Great game. Not like what you've played before.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sega Hits a Home Run March 11, 2012
By Ricky
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I purchased this game for 19.99 and it is worth every single penny. It is addicting, challenging and keeps a grin on your face. Though some of the puzzles are difficult, the hint system really keeps you from throwing your 3ds or from getting frustrated. The game has beautiful graphics, and Sega really perfected the controls. The camera angles are very good, and I have yet to encounter an awkward camera glitch. I had been waiting for this game to come out for the longest time and it finally released here in the states. I must note that the 3d is really good here. You must play with the 3d on. It's simply a different experience. I was playing nonstop mario kart but now i have crush 3d glued into my system, It's definitely worth 20 bucks.

I checked their online store and you are right. I played the demo (thought I wouldn't like it) and really liked it, but I didn't plan on buying it right away (I have a small stack of unplayed games at the moment). If Amazon matches that price I'll think I'll buy it. If not... then I might get it... Read more

new series?
There is a game from 2007 on PSP called Crush (both are Sega). I played the demo for Crush 3D (I really liked it) and watched a gameplay video of Crush on youtube and it's the same game. I mean not identical (I don't think so anyway), but the graphics are similar and what you do is the same. I'm... Read more
