Crusty Demons Night of World Records -Free Style Motocross. Dissapointing!,
This review is from: Crusty Demons Night of World Records (DVD)
Two things I want to be upfront about - 1, Many years ago - I rode motocross bikes, and 2, I'm 49 now - so older than 'this' generation. I have 'Crusty 1,2,3 and Had 'Global Assault Tour' (The worst one so far). There are some scenes of stunts and footage I have Not seen before - but there is a lot of re-used 'Crusty' footage in here. Most of the music is that like satanic 'White-Zombie' crap. - And even if you have A.D.D. - this film moves from one thing to another too much. There should be a separate audio track for people who like the riding without the noise called 'music'. Time is wasted on flashed of semi-nude (and blurred out at that) - women.
Idiots drinking, trucks, snow-cross, and some bmx - images of people who've inked themselves all up, and crazy piercings. I want to see tricks and stunts on motocross bikes, maybe some spectacular crashes. This DVD jumps from one thing to another - changes too quickly. I'd like to know how they do the tricks. If I want to see people destroying themselves - I'll buy a Jackass DVD. Crusty 2 & 3 are my favorites. Pastrana "199 Lives" is great. "Global Addiction" - I wish they'd make a 2nd one. But this "Night Of World Records" - is mostly a misnomer, - Not clear what 'records' they are talking about. Has two bonuses on disc of interviews of Seth Enslow talking about his two worst crashes - that is somewhat interesting. I wish the other DVDs about Free Style Motocross had more comments - they cost some $$ - and No comments listed on most. I'd skip this disc - unless you like all that stupid screaming and flashes of people wasting their lives. Look for Motocross DVDs that show skill - and has more of a story-line. Scott M.
