Everyone comments on them!

The critters are very comfortable, they don't wear her shoulders out as much as the plasticky tops on the crutches do.

I purchased these for my eight year old who has been using crutches for a broken leg. She loves them and she has received a lot of comments on how cute they are. We bought the white kittens and they are adorable and very soft. I was afraid that they would get dirty easily but they have stayed remarkably clean.
I have two concerns concerning this product. One of the problems is that the fur on the animal (at least the kittens) is slick and my daughter's crutches have slipped underneath her arms causing her to fall a few times. This was quite scary for her and she injured herself both times. I wanted to take them off but she begged me to keep them on because she said they were helping her. She told me she would just be more careful :(
The other problem is that after using them for awhile, the padding on top of the crutch slides down the sides of the animal and there is little or no padding left underneath the arms. The sides are nice and soft but it would be better if they made these in a way that the padding on top of the crutch remained in place and continued to provide the cushion that you feel when they are first put on the crutches. They are a cute idea and my daughter loves them and the attention she receives when using them but I think some improvements should be made to make them safer and more comfortable (especially for the price, which was more than the cost of her crutches!)

I bought these prior to my wifes foot operation not so much for comfort but to cheer her up. I had also bought crutches and a knee walker prior to the surgery which she had seen as they came in and she practiced a little with each (I hid the crutch critters). She only used the knee walker for the first 6 weeks which made me think I had wasted my money on the crutches and critters. Well she had to learn to walk again so for the 7 and 8 week( still in the cast) the Dr started weaning her off the walker onto the crutches. She hated the crutches and everything about them then I showed her the crutch critters her attitude changed in 5 seconds an absolute transformation. What I trying to say there is nothing fun about crutches add the crutch critters and they become mirthful. People smile and laugh and usually start a conversation. Anything that can do this to crutches is well worth the money .

This is a GREAT Product. My daughter broker her tibia ice skating. She is only 6 years old. These critters worked awesome for her. They Do Not fall off the crutches, and are very comfortable. Not to mention how cute they are. I would totally recommend this product.

I bought a pair of these for my crutches following knee surgery. They are very cushy and make it easy to hold the crutches in place when standing around. I haven't had any of the sore arm problems people often complain about with crutches and I've been on the crutches for 6 weeks now.

They also get lots of comments. I was surprised that neither my orthopedic surgeon nor my physical therapist had seen them before. They're the one fun thing about recovering from knee surgery.

I got these crutch pads for my wife after she tore her ACL and menescus playing volleyball. We have kids who think they're cute, and many people we pass by complement her on them.

The critters are very comfortable, they don't wear her shoulders out as much as the plasticky tops on the crutches do.

Being on crutches is a pain. Not jut the frustration of walking on them but the literal pain they cause! I looked at dozens of crutch pads. Some were pretty plain but functional, some were a bit more fun with print fabric, but then I came across the Crutch Critters and they made me laugh and think how CUTE! I chose to order Skippy the puppy. I chose the 2 day delivery on the shipping choices because I really wanted some padding ASAP. These came in the mail right on time. The were packaged well in a plastic bag and in a decent sized box. I was thrilled when I pulled them out of the plastic and then very easily put them on my crutches. The padding is very nice, and thick. I was very happy with the comfort these gave me immediately! The whimsical cuteness of these crutch covers are awesome. I am a it of a comical goofball by nature and these totally fit my personality. An absolute conversation starter for sure. Everyone loves them and asks where in the world I found them. The one bonus to these that I never expected, and am very thankful for, is that it distracts people from asking the one question EVERYONE on crutches hears (and hates hearing 100xs a day!) "What happened?" or "What did you do?" They are focused on the fun little puppies and not asking me all about my broken heel....which is a relief, as I'm getting sick to death of retelling the crazy story of my injury! These are so fun, and get tons of laughs. This is such a cool idea, I can't believe I've never seen them before, but I'm so glad I stumbled upon them.

I do have a suggestion for Crutch Critters though-it would be nice if they included grip pads with their fun critters. I think it would sell well as a complete set. It doesn't take away from my rating at all, but I did have to purchase grip pads separately because I desperately need extra padding on the hand grips too.
