4.0 out of 5 stars A significant work on Hawaii mysticism and mystical history, June 21, 2010
This review is from: The Cry of the Huna: The Ancestral Voices of Hawaii (Paperback)
This is a very interesting book where the author intersperses his actions and visions in the now in Hawaii going to sacred sites along with visions from what occured in his ancestors past. You will pick up lots of information and insights about Hawaiian history and mythology. The only thing is that after reading the book there is not much you can do with what you just read. It's nice stories. But unless you already have a core in mysticism or Hawaiian mythology you won't have added that much to your life experience. Still, if you have the background or interest in ancient Hawaii then this is worth your time.
