My 1st sci-fi book,
By Brandon Blankenburg (Seattle, WA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Crygender (Paperback)
This is the first sci-fi boook that really caught my eye (big surprise with a bright awesome neon-colored cover like that) and the first one I actually read. The twist can be guessed immediately and the book was rather predictable, but it was still very enjoyable. I already find myself wanting to read it again. In the future a detective is investigating the disappearence of a girl who was last seen at the world-famous Bordello known as Babylon which is run by a herm known as Crygender. Think a non-gory sci-fi version of "Hostel" crossed with "The Island", "Hedwig", "Rocky Horror", and even a bit of "Mommie Dearest".
