As childcare worker myself and now a Youth worker I really appreciate Shane Dunphy's books. His writting is superb, emotional and raw. His books contain so many horrors that most people don't wish to know about and pretend it's not happening in their streets!
Well done for writing All of your books and giving people the opportunity to comprehend how some children are living.

I have read all of Shane Dunphy's memoirs. Each book is unique. His stories about working in child care are fascinating.

breaks my heart that children suffer. well written. I like the way he creates a story out of these cases, but story or not, the facts are sad.

Well-written and easy to immerse yourself in, this book has a brutal honesty about situations that too many people experience personally. Please read the author's note at the conclusion of the book.
