A great album!, September 16, 1999

I got a free demo from a music store in Atlanta which had "When There is Nothing", "Hear You", and "Snippets" of other stuff from Cryogenic Sleep. I really loved what I heard (enough to search out the album and finally find it and buy it from amazon.com). Some of it has a techno feel, but there are a lot more elements to it than that. Overall it has a kind of dark, empty feeling but it maintains a good beat...the best comparison I can use is Depeche Mode (whom they cover) but the sound is definitely distinct.

kHz is a hidden gem in the rough of musical nonsense, September 16, 1999

After being thoroughly inundated by the pop garbage circulating the airwaves, someone suggested this CD to me after seeing this band perform in New York City. After listening to the CD I'm convinced this group is the front-runner in cutting edge electronic rock. And to top it off, the lead singer is so unbelievably beautiful, she looks like she was crafted in someone's basement!
