1.0 out of 5 stars Not a trace of editing, September 8, 2000

This review is from: Cryonics: Frozen for an Eternity (Paperback)
This is without a doubt the worst book I have ever seen in my life. There is no way it could have even been glanced at by an editor. It looks like an accidental publishing of an early pre-writing draft. First, the book has five parts, but it goes directly from the Introduction (the largest part of the book) to Part II. Second, one of the parts (on the history of burial) is literally one page long and is totally unnecessary. Third, there are countless typos, the worst being paragraph breaks in the middle of sentences. But worst of all, it is painfully obvious that portions of the text are lifted directly from Cryonics Institute literature (e.g., in a description of the suspension process, there are references to "our dewars" - but the author is not affiliated with the Institute).
