We own several of these, and are always finding new uses for them. Because the liquid is encapsulated in small pockets (about two ice-cubes worth), you can carefully cut a larger sheet apart to make just the right size.I have a long, skinny strip to wrap around jars of stock as they cool in the fridge, two bread-sized pieces to put in between sandwiches in the cooler, and a finger-sized piece for putting on the cook when she burns herself. This smaller sheet is pre-cut, and cheaper. Which one to get depends on how much you need to add to your order...

I have serious back problems, and these have been very helpful to me. I wrap one in a hand towel and lay with it under me on my lower back. I have 2 packs, and they freeze so quickly that one is ready in the freezer when I'm done using the other.
