The Spindle is custom made to fit the commercial Tubular Latch to eliminate wiggle, which is what makes antique knobs to fall of the spindle over time.. The body of 8" X 2.5" Backplates and Knob stems are formed in Solid Brass, each knob has double set screws to secure them permanently to the spindle.
