This is a bootleg release from questionable sources. I have no idea why Amazon even allows this to be listed, but do yourself a favor and save your money.

There is NO legitimate issue of this particular "2-fer" as shown. If you see this release, it's a bootleg.

if bootleg copies of these kinds of cd's are on amazon, someone needs to know that should!

This item is NOT as advertised. Although the title is the same when you receive the cds, it is in essence a compilation of artists you've really never heard of, with none of them being the Grass Roots. Why this is still listed, is beyond me, since I've already reported it twice to Amazon and have been told that my refund is approved. Why wait till someone else has to go through this.

"Lovin Things" (The Grass Roots 4th LP) has never been available in the US as a CD. I have wanted that record for many years (being a very long time Grass Roots fan), but their was nothing available sans some very cheesy "Best Of..."compilations. For a while their was a legitimate German produced 2 on 1 CD that contained "Lets Live For Today" and "Feelings"... but that CD has since disappeared. Luckily I purchased that several years ago when it was available. None-the-less when I ran across this CD I really wondered what it would sound like and was it legitimate. First of all, in terms of the delivery of the CD; I ordered it and received the CD three days later... so a major thumbs up on the delivery aspect of the purchase. Now, for the quality of the music. As far as I am concerned it is very good. Is this a Gold quality, highly remastered CD? No... but that said, the sound quality has actually exceeded my expectations (which are pretty high). It is very, very good to say the least. The CD says "Made In Italy" for what ever that is worth. But the bottom line is that the sound quality is very clear with no pops, skips, background noise or extraneous sounds. All I know is that if you are a Grass Roots fan and looking for the first 4 LPs on CD, this vendor has the answer. I would recommend these without any hesitation.
