After years of battling the rows and rows of deodorants antiperspirants and the damage they cause to my undershirts as well as to my skin I finally "found" Crystal.

I had my doubts about it. To tell you the truth, I knew of its existence for quite some time before I tried it for the first time. I just wasn't convinced by the "natural" alternatives. To me body odour was something complex and demanded a similar complex solution in the form of a carefully crafted mixture of highly evolved chemical compounds born out of a multi million dollar ultra tech lab. It turns out that what's churning out of big bucks laboratories is a very unnecessary toxic substance that I guarantee will yellow your shirts and irritate your skin. Crystal body deodorant looks cheest, I know, but it is very very effective and will make you save on shirts as well on deodorant itself.

OK, what you need to know:

*Takes a bit to get used to, since you have to moisten the rock before you apply it, and to us fast-food generations, that's a big no-no. But it's actually not that bad.
*You do sweat, but it doesn't smell, so I think that's kind of what's supposed to happen. We put too much importance on being dry, at the cost of skin irritation and damage.
*Yes it performs well when even when doing heavy work (I shoveled some garden dirt the other day, in the May heat, and I smelled OK).
*No, it doesn't stain the shirts.
*The rock is quite smooth and it doesn't feel weird rubbing it against your skin.
*Yes the package is tacky that's why it's better to mail order or buy online.
*Haven't used it on feet though it says it works there too.
*Odourless, it smells as water smells. Yeah, you got it: nothing.

I write this because what I read online really helped me decide on this product, and I am glad I deed. It's a major improvement on my quality of life.

Have been using a natural crystal deoderant for about 15 yrs. Very effective. No perfume smell nor stickiness. Very long lasting. Use with wet underarms rather than wetting the crystal and it will last a very long time, 2 people using for over 1 yr.

The salt kills bacteria, preventing odor. Works extremely well, and you won't even know you are wearing it; there is no stickiness or scent, etc. Each crystal has lasted me years.
