As a child of the 80s, much of this sound is eerily familiar to me. It's somehow refreshing even while the beats creep deeper into my skull. Part dance, part techno, part rave, part Atari 5200, with a bit of anime thrown in. It's difficult to put down, so I highly recommend.

I love this album! It's a very solid effort considering it's their debut. If you like electronic music and liked what your 8bit Nintendo sounded like, check these guys out. You wont be disappointed.

Crystal Castles is amazing, and the funny thing is they are hard to describe!? It's 80's arcade sounds, house, dance, pop, craziness. Very addicting, and I've found my friends like it quite a bit even though it's not something they normally listen to. Great stuff, highly recommended!

I love this album even more than I did the other day. And this grows daily. What a masterpiece. I would recommend this album to anyone who loves experimental noise music mixed with good electronic music sound.

Yea so basically I am amazed by this album I was actually surprised how much I liked it, almost seemed to grow on me with each listen, way sick deep beats and electros make this album bomb, and for only 7 bucks it is a steal Push buy now!!
-Oyea and if they make good music who really cares if they steal flipping album artwork, I know I don't give a poo...so yea Mr. 1 star shame on you for ruining the review....
-my favorite song is deff Alice ---Practice---, or ---Courtship Dating--- sick stuff.

Well about the stolen artwork. They asked for permission in person. Crystal castles are Amazing Musicians and Trevor Brown's work is astounding; The both joining forces... i couldn't wish it no other way... They both are suberb and original artists... and you can't deny that.

Gets boring after a few listens, but worth the several songs that make the album. There are some really annoying tracks that I deleted after I listened to them as well.
