There's really not much protectable real estate on the sixth generation Nano. It's mostly touch screen... as such, it's a challenge to design a product that effectively safeguards the diminutive iPod. This little plastic sleeve does about the best job possible, short of carrying around your mp3 player in a sock. Plus, I got it for a dollar and three bucks shipping. You can't really go wrong with those numbers...

I am clumsy. In other words, I drop my Nano more than I should (which is never). With this cover in place, I have dropped my Nano on the bathroom floor, with no damage to the iPod (or the floor).
Folks who rate this product poorly because it doesn't cover the whole iPod are missing the point of the design. The raised edges on the sides of the cover keep the touch screen from shattering.
If you never drop your iPod, then maybe you don't need this item. I'm buying another one because I keep LOSING my iPod. Is there a device to prevent that? A new brain maybe? I'm in the market.

Should have been shipped in something smaller
Bought this product for $1, packing was rather big so it ended up costing a lot for me to ship it back to singapore. Would recommend that it be sent in an envelop next time
