I got this without quite knowing what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was just beginning to learn about crystals and wanted a place to start. This has 12 very nice stones, I was expecting them to be lesser quality since it is an inexpensive kit, but the stones are of a good size and quality. The book is very informative without being overwhelming. I am very pleased with this kit.

The Crystal Healing Kit is a convenient introduction to crystal healing. Having done some of the meditations with the tumbled stones, I think it may have helped my chronic pain and fatigue and given me a boost in energy sometimes. I have combined some of the healing techniques with the ones in the Healing Power of Your Aura book. I put some rose quartz stones in the four corners of my room and the loud music has lessened considerably in a neighborhood where people think it's their God-given right to share their "beats" with the rest of us whether we want them or not. Rose quartz is the stone of love and tranquility, according to the book, and I suppose it is working because it's been as quiet as a monastery around here most of the time since I put them in the corners. Hopefully, it will stay that way.

The author claims to have had some success with healing others with the stones and says that the Tibetans have used them traditionally to heal. No one actually knows why they heal. Where is the scientific proof that it works? Those who are open to the book don't need no stinkin' scientific proof and besides a hardcore rationalist such as a scientist will immediately dismiss with contempt the notion that a rock could heal, so there won't be any scientific tests any time soon. I will admit that a pretty little tumbled stone could heal is a romantic notion and that rosy romanticism never dies in the new age movement.

Each of the stones corresponds to one of the twelve chakras described in the book. I like to do the session that activates all twelve of them, although at first I would use just three before I learned about how to use the rest of the stones more. I've slept with them in the bed trying to heal my back. An amethyst does seem to help the recollection of dreams, although putting the stone under your pillow already serves as a reminder, so I can't say it could be solely from the power of the stone. The hardest thing is to keep up with the stones without losing them. It's best not to move them around too much and keep them in the same place, but I do like to wear them in my pockets behind my belt, or even in my underwear sometimes. Having tried several ways to heal the pain, more or less conventionally, I keep trying "stranger" things.

The book explains what the stones can do for you and the kit contains the stones to use immediately. It also explains how to use the stones and how to program and activate them for your purposes. If nothing more, at least you'll have a nice collection of stones sitting on your window sill.

This is a good pack to get for someone just starting out in crystal healing. You get 12 crystals that have a wide range of uses. The book is very informative, with good illustrations to show you how to make a grid for different conditions.

The Crystal Healing Pack...I recommend to every one who is in their path to spiritual journey, finding light, balance and rediscovering their healing gift. These stones will help your energy vibrate to higher level of awareness making you more open and one with your Higher Self. Anyone who is into meditation should incorporate the healing pack whilst they quiet their mind as it is a very very important tool..this review is based on my experience using the healing pack...the crystal healing stones helped me rediscover my gift as a spiritual healer, my psychic gift more attuned and I found balance in every day life.

As someone just getting into crystal healing and learning about the properties of crystals, I couldn't have picked a better starting point than this kit. The twelve stones are tumbled and beautiful. Judy picked the basic crystals everyone should work with. You can grow your collection from there. The book is clearly written and explains how to cleanse, dedicate, and activate your stones. It also gives a complete description of each stone; it's effects on body, mind, emotions, environment, and spirit. My only criticism is that a velvet pouch should be included so you can carry the stones but they are easily attainable online. Some people argue against the practice of placing your stones in contact with one another since the stones can wear on each other but all of these stones are in the same general hardness range from what I can tell so there is no problem there. Judy Hall did all of us students of crystal healing a favor by putting this starter kit together. Thank you Judy!

This book and crystal pack is the absolute BEST that I've seen and worked with in the 5+ years that I've been avidly exploring crystals and crystal-healing (and I've done A LOT of exploring)!

The 12 crystals alone (included in the pack) are worth more than the cost of the entire pack and are a generous size.

The book includes descriptions of each crystal, as well as general and very specific placement instructions that are very easy-to-read and follow -- and covers so many needs I still cannot think of one for which it doesn't provide!

The book is enjoyable to read as well!

This was a great kit for me. The stones were good quality and the booklet was informative. It was an easy and inexpensive way to begin learning about crystals and crystal healing.

This is a very cool idea to combine this manual with a box containing specimens of each of the actual crystals that Judy Hall covers. She is very thorough covering the uses of each of the crystals, how to use crystals in combination with each other and methods to discover which crystals are optimal for you. Those of you who are new to using crystals will find this manual engrossing and informative.

As an absolute green beginner in crystals, this book is full of easy to read information as well as being very well organized. Great reference for each crystal and its healing to the parts of the body and the chakra system. As a start it covers enough to keep you busy for quite a while in your learning path of crystals. The tumbled samples are very smooth and seemingly big enough.
