I took a chance and purchased this without ever hearing it. It's now my favorite CD. There are six tracks w/soothing music & crystal bowls & 9 tracks w/crystal bowls alone. You can use the CD while meditating or even while sleeping. The vibrations made by the crystal bowls help to open and balance your chakras (energy wheels which create your body's aura). There are seven different sized bowls on the CD, and the pitch of each one relates to one of the seven main chakras. Healthy, balanced chakras mean healthy, balanced body, mind, emotions & spirit. The energy from your chakras effects your body from the molecular level outward. Closed, blocked, weak chakras lead to sickness, and eventually disease. You can feel the vibrations of the crystals bowls. I put this CD on when I go to bed and fall asleep to it. I let it play all night. It's VERY soothing! Give it a try. I think you'll enjoy it too.

I use this CD whenever I feel I need to relax. I am not into meditating just yet, but it gets the job done. I wish I could find more like this one.
