That 15 pages is being generous - this paper stand holds maybe a dozen or so pages, if that, before they start to stick. Only buy this if you plan to have the paper you're looking at sit there for several minutes while you type stuff from it or whatever. If you're like me and do data entry that requires flipping pages every minute or so, this is probably the wrong product for you. In that case, but a traditional paper tray that sits upright at a slant, that you can put a whole big stack of papers on, and slide them off the pile much faster. At least the product looks really cool though.

I have a few of these on my desk. Small and unobtrusive. They work great. Nothing too earth shattering but a cool little product that works well.

I saw these in my school's bookstore a few years ago and thought it was a good idea. Little did I know that it would become one of my most sought after peripherals for my desk. I could not, for the life of me, find another one of these Page Ups. I didn't know they had a name until now...either way, this is well worth the $8. It holds an easy 10-15 pages (even some card stock thrown in there!) and it does not move at all. I think it may be the sticker on the bottom, but this little guy stays put regardless of how 'aggressively' one places and replaces their papers. For the record, the picture is a little darker than the actual product. I would say it's more of a smoked color than actual black. You can see the white sand (?) through the Page Ups' walls, but it doesn't really take away or add to it's appearance; just a little different than the picture. Lastly, I've been hanging sticky notes and paper-clipped items from papers set in the stand and I haven't had any problems at all. This is a terrific little innovative desk accessory this is sure to make typing/reading tasks much easier.

Like the title says... it does what it's supposed to. Don't think you'll be disappointed in it if you buy one.

I bought 2, one for home and one for the office. It is very useful to look alternately at paper and PC monitor.

Forget those bulky, flimsy page stands for typing of the past!
I love Page Ups! They make great gifts for folks who do a lot of writing--teachers, students, doctors, lawyers, business people, journalists, reporters, secretaries, etc. They are generally sturdy and can also hold recipe cards, index cards, note cards, postcards, cards for display, greeting cards, information cards, how-to-instruction booklets, thin hobby diagrams, etc. Just think of them as small, but weighted paper stands. I have three of them--different colors! :) |
