This is a very nice yarn. It is very soft and feels nice in the hand while being worked. The colors are nicely balanced and the striping is attractive. But it is a very small ball of yarn: I can get a pair of fingerless gloves out a skein but do not think I could get two full socks.

This is a not a bad review. I think the yarn is absolutely gorgeous. It is nice and soft and the color striping that works up when crocheting is beautfiul. The ladies in my crochet group tried to sneak it out of my bag when we met. I had to rate it a '4' because when I had to gauge and rip it, the fibers melded very quickly and it was quite difficult. Not sure if this was from my inexperience or not. But, I have used yarns that contain a great deal of mohair and didn't have this problem. Needless to say, I stopped my project because I couldn't stand ripping it. You should be able to rip with ease especially if you are in need of guaging your work. Otherwise, I would recommend using this yarn to others with the disclaimer that you should be experienced with working with such intricate yarns and not have to rip as much as I did.

The yarn arrived promptly and the packaging was in good condition. The colors I bought - Tapestry Rainbow, Intense Rainbow, and Beach Scene - were vibrant and true to the photo. Also, the yarn is both soft and strong, a perfect combination for novice knitters like myself.

My only complaint is that the packaging is a little small. Only a tiny complaint - it's large enough to knit a full-size scarf for a man of average height - but I'm pretty sure that it won't last long after that. I hope it will, because I really love this yarn.

This yarn is soft without shedding, and is not scratchy at all. I used it to make a beautiful cowl. I especially like how the natural color variation lends any project a visually interesting and variated appearance.

This was my first project ever, and I let my daughter pick the yarn. We ordered it online, and she picked it based exclusively on color. This yarn was simultaneously a godsend and a fool's errand. I plunged into the project blithely ignorant to the fact that it would split while knitting, and pill when wearing. That being said, it's like gossamer moonbeams are sliding through your fingers when you're working with it, and feels like you're wearing ultra-fine kitten down when you're done. Despite coming in balls so small, that it took an entire ball to make a single (size 6 women's) sock, I would absolutely choose it again. :-)

Knitted up beautifully. Like a previous reviewer noted, there is some variation in the size of the strands throughout, some thicker and some thinner than others but even the thin strands are resonably strong. I am a new knitter who tends to knit much tighter than I actually should and I did not experience any breakage in the thinner areas. True, this yarn is a little pricey for the amount you recieve but the price offered here is very consistant with what seems to be the going price that I've found both in store and online.
