Crystal Quest products are trash! I live in NYC and the quality of tap water is pretty good compared to the rest of the country. Hoping to remove the chlorine smell I've installed the unit at home but i still have the bad odor and it seems to make the water taste even worse. In addition, the customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. I've ordered a triple countertop water filter back in early August and it arrived damaged during the shipping process. There was no padding between the box and the filter unit, so it was no surprise that it would break if the courier treats it roughly. I've e-mailed them requesting the procedure for exchanging the item but no reply. A week later I've made a phone call to the company and someone did finally helped me getting the replacement out. I've asked whether the damaged item need to be returned back to the company she wasn't sure of the process. If it needs to be returned someone will e-mail me with the Return Authorization Number and the procedures. More than a month later someone from Crystal Quest replied to my original e-mail and she requested that I need to send the broken item back to the company, otherwise I will be charged for the full amount of a damaged item. By the time i've received that e-mail the damaged filter was thrown out. In the end they've charged twice for the same item. Unprofessional and definately waste of time if you are trying to get a customer service. DON"T BUY!!!!!!!!!

Dont recommend this filter. It did not filter and remove impurities at all. Waste of money.
