Crystal Reports 10 extends the significant feature set introduced in Version 9 to deliver the most stable and proven release ever! Crystal Reports Advanced Developer Edition is a Web development and deployment bundle of Crystal Reports and Crystal Enterprise. It includes all the features in Crystal Reports Developer Edition, plus workgroup deployment capabilities for Crystal Enterprise Embedded Edition.

With this bundle, you can:

• Increase application performance by offloading report processing from your Web application server
• Add more interactivity to your application with end-user report creation and modification--including field formatting, record sorting, and group definition--at runtime
• Extend your application with advanced exporting capabilities (Excel, XML, and Text/CSV)

The Advanced Developer Edition is a cost-effective way for you to see how both Crystal Reports and Crystal Enterprise can add value to your enterprise applications.

The Crystal Reports Advanced Developer Edition includes a limited production license of Crystal Enterprise Embedded Edition, formerly known as the Crystal Enterprise Report Application Server. This license is designed for applications that service a small workgroup or departmental users base. To support greater user loads you can increase your application’s reporting performance by upgrading to a full processor license of Crystal Enterprise Embedded.

Crystal Reports Advanced Developer Edition also includes a five named-user production license of the Crystal Enterprise Professional Edition. This special introductory offer is restricted to single standalone deployment of five named-user licenses. You may not add these licenses onto an existing Crystal Enterprise deployment or stack these licenses to increase number of named licenses (e.g. you cannot deploy 10 named users of Crystal Enterprise Professional by purchasing two copies of Crystal Reports Advanced). Each named-user license must be assigned to a specific individual. As a result sharing of single name-user licenses with more than one individual is prohibited. You may only deploy one report type with Crystal Enterprise Professional. To deploy both Crystal Reports (.rpt) and Crystal Analysis (.car) files, additional licensing is required.
